Battle on the Bayou

Thank you for supporting the Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain and the Battle on the Bayou!

The Second Annual Battle on the Bayou began with a blast behind the Gulf Hills Hotel & Conference Center. A civil war cannon blast! Click Here for Pictures…

Over 180 racers paddling 168 water craft participated in the 9.5 mile race to The Shed BBQ. But the end of the race was the beginning of the party.

The sweet music of Djangeaux and the Baby and Blue Tuna filled the air as well as the smell of great smokey barbecue. A silent auction and raffle concluded the days activities and raised over $8,000 for conservation.
