“En plein air” is a French phrase that means “in the open air” and is used to describe the act of painting outdoors
Join us as we transform “The Redding House” into a nature-inspired art gallery! Take a stroll through the historic Redding House as you peruse a breathtaking array of paintings, pottery, photography, and jewelry. Enjoy sumptuous gourmet hors-d’oeuvres and wine while you mingle with the artists and bid on these coastal treasures.
What began as a small exhibit of paintings has quickly grown to include, pottery, photography, and jewelry. The Plein Air Art Event is a favorite among local residents, because it features local subjects as interpreted by local artists. It is truly a coastal Mississippi event for the benefit of coastal Mississippi.
